I still think "Off The Wall" was a much better album.
I was more impressed with the Acoustic Guitars on Black or White than Eddie Van Halen on Beat It.

I always thought Off the Wall was a better album as well; and when I play MJ, it is usually Off The Wall or The Essential MJ - 9 Off The Wall to 1 Essential MJ.
I think that "Thriller" was a better overall production but "Off the Wall" was fresher and more fun. I remember it came out at about the same time as Prince's debut and both albums blew my mind for different reasons: MJ's album had so much to listen to, I didn't know where to start and with Prince's album I had to wonder if he was really saying what I thought I heard.
