Soulster, I remember the first time I heard the song. My friends and I were gathered around a portable radio outdoors, listening to this deep voice rapping about a woman. When the rap finished and he started singing "By The Time I Get to Phoenix" we could not believe what we were hearing. What? Glen Campbell's song! It just blew our minds.....lol And when we saw the album cover? Have Mercy!!!!
