    Maxine Brown poorly

    Best wishes to Maxine Brown who is recuperating after a hospital procedure went wrong.
    She was due to play a gig in London in about a weeks time but has had to call her UK visit off.
    Hope she gets well soon.

    I met Maxine some years ago here in New York, she is a really great lady and superb singer.
