I am a researcher at the University of Glamorgan and I am currently looking at the social identity of music fans. I took your survey but I am not sure any of my responses will help you. I also could not answer some of the questions.

The survey assumes that the participant has a favorite type of music over any others. I like music from all genres and cannot be a fan fan of just one more than others. I also think you should have added a question of collecting memorabilia, which I think is more common than dressing like a fan/fan of an artist.

i agree with soulster, it seemed a rather superficial survey inviting stereotypical answers. Without knowing what it is to be used for, I felt unable to complete it..
