Too bad the sound quality of the ICON CD series sucks.
Nice to see that Motown still is chart material 50 years on.
Soulster, tell us all about it. What is it you hear?
How many copies must one sell to reach #29 on the charts? A thousand or so? Doesn't seem to difficult if they are available at a budget price in 12,000 Wal-Marts. Still, kudos to the Tempts. It just goes to show that good songwriting/lyrics and outstanding vocals can stand the test of time.
Recently you could get into the Top 10 of the Top 200 by selling about 10,000 copies. It's very weak.
For the R & B Chart and the positions these releases are achieving, they might be selling a couple thousand copies.
Getting into Walmart is an excellent idea.
