I must say, that it was a pleasent surprise
To see a post about our CD that was just released on ABKCO.
I was very well put together.
The remastering of some of our great songs.
Plus a surprise cut on there, that blew my mind.
I just want to take time to thank all of our fans for hanging in there with us.
I hope those who purchase it, will enjoy it.

What nosey, smooth and luke said. I'll definetly get this. The ABKCO Best Of The Cameo-Parkway years was a real eye-opener for me. One of my favorite CD's today. It's good to have you around here, caesar. I'm glad your recordings are getting out there.

I'm enjoying a bonus cut on the CD called COME WITH ME TO THE SEA. It starts off like So Much In Love, but the words remind me of I HEAR A SYMPHONY. In fact I wish there were a way to put Dians's "Whenever you're near I Hear A Symphony" into the instrumental part of the song.

By the way, there are many artists on this site. What are your feelings when someone re-mixes or mashes one of your songs and puts it on You Tube?

When yoiu listen to the entire CD, it tells a story. Was this the first concept album?

    Milven,
From a producer's standpoint I have come across some of my productions that the mix was tampered with, and NOT for the better. I look in on some Stoney and Meatloaf videos on YouTube that have done just that, but there is nothing that I can do about it.

    Hi Milven,
    To answer your question.
When I see and hear other people doing our songs,
On You Tube or whatever. I consider that a great complimant.
I shows me that others do appreciate my work.
    Example,
When ALL FOR ONE,recorded it and took it back to number one.
I commended them for doing it. It really gave us a boost.
We are still working on the strength of that recording.
I always said, you can't mess with an original.
Especially if it is a good one.
That song helped a lot of our fans relive a good time in their lives.
We tried to do something with then [[A,F,O,) I won't say what the reply was, it was very negative.
Things look good when you're on top?
    I hope I helped you.

    Sometimes.....you just gotta co-sine.

My girls were super impressed with the harmonies and production of "So In Love". Until now they had only heard the Persuasions' version. They couldn't believe this version was recorded years before.

We're gonna get this on the strength of that performance.

My copy arrived from the States last week and I've been playing the CD every day since then. Great harmonies, great lead singer and great tunes. Strangely, considering your usual sound, Ceasar, I'm loving your take on surf music. And the Italian version of So Much In Love is to die for, as Italian is such a romantic language. Perhaps I'm biased becasue my mother was Italian!

    HI MIKE,
It's funny how this song has resurfaced.
I had no idea that it had been recorded by so many other great artist.
I really liked THE SUPREMES version of it.
    A little history about it,
It written by two gentelman from Rochester, N.Y.
    WADE DAVIS , JERRY FERGISION
I think they first sang with a group called [[ THE BAND WAGON )
They later joined our group [[ THE TYMES )
WADE became our second tenor, and choreogapher.
    JERRY became our M.D.
They were with us for a good while.
    We toured Europe together.
Yes, I think we did a pretty nice job on it.
And thanks for the kind words.
    Hope to meet you sometime

    Ceasar,

I have the album by Lifestyle, a 5 piece vocal group with Jerry Ferguson and Wade Davis. They were also managed and produced by Billy Jackson. Jerry did most of the writing. He also did keyboards, so quite a talent. You'll recognise them on the back cover. cheers Mike

I once told Ceasar how, when I was with The Sunliners, we had worked up "So In Love", and how it pleased him to know what others had done with this fine song. And now, all these years later, we both show up on a music forum. Small world huh, Ceasar?

Ceasar, I read read and watched about the mistake in the narration in Myron Lees Film clips from the 60's. We are talking around 50 years ago. Myron showed me the videos exactky 1 year ago. I was just amazed. It was the first time I had ever seen them and I am his brother. I am a music nut and have a website just for fun. I picked a few of your You Tube videos and put them on my website with a link to Amazon or iTunes so people can easily find and buy your music. If there is anything else we could do or put up for you, just let us know. Here is a link to The Tymes at Lowdollars.com

You all did a nice job. It was my first cruise and I enjoyed it so much that I just booked for next year. You guys sounded great, and I certainly enjoyed seeing Dion, Ronny Spector, Darlene Love, Sonny Turner etc.
Next year is going to be incredible- Little Anthony, The Four Tops, Neil Sedecka, Petula Clark. Leslie Gore, Bobby Rydell, Freddy Cannon, Chris Montez, Gary and the US Bond, Gary Lewis and the Playboy, Crystals, S. Alston of the Shirelles, and Bill Medley.
The theatre is outstanding , I highly reccommend this for anyone who can take the cruise.
