Wow, Mr. Soul,... "Only Pretty Girls" by The Iceman!,... is my absolute favorite of the "Suite For The Single Girl" album. Despite the fact I'm a Phillysound and Jerry Butler fanatic, my two favorite LP's by him are this and "Love's On The Menu" with some ultra-mellow gems.

Here's some tracks I have been herding today at the I-Tunes:

    "Philadelphia" - B.B. King
    "Serenading" - El DeBarge
    "Gone Now" - Fran Jefferies
"Season Of The Witch" - Lou Rawls
-"Funkanova" - Wood, Brass & Steel
    - "Thousand Shades Of Blue" - The Dramatics
    - "Who's That Stranger" - Terri Wells

And the last CD by Incognito, "Surreal"

    - Two volumes of Tys Van Leer "Instrospections"
    - Jon Faddis "Remembrances"
    - Chesky Records 10th Anniversary double CD "Jazz & World Celebration" & "Classical celebration" (featuring Luiz Bonfa, Anna Caram, Johnny Frigo, Mongo Santamaria,...)

And, when I'm feel "sattured" of Jazz and classical, I need to return to SOUL and in these moments I'm herding a I-Tunes track-list of The O'Jays ("Rented Tuxedo"); Soul Survivors ("Mama Soul"); Billy Stewart ("Sittin' In The Park"); Pac-Keys ("Diggin'");... and also have close to the computer some CD's by Double Exposure, Futures and "Love Crazy" by The Miracles. I miss THE VOICES when I'm hearding too much time instrumental music...

I call myself a serious fan of Marvin , but I am shamed to admit I have over looked this album. Though mostly instrumental ,it's unmistakably Marvin's style. I'm looking forward to the expanded CD .
