The Drifters do Jimmy Bishop / Kenny Gamble

I know Atlantic were tight with some Philly acts in the mid 60's [[Patti La Belle & Blue Belles, Soul Brothers Six, etc) so A&R guys from the label obviously had links to the Philly soul scene but didn't release that Bert Berns had cut Kenny Gamble songs on the Drifters.

Did this link come via Atlantic or via Bert Berns himself, anyone know ?
[[The songs publishing was partly assigned to Berns Web lV Music but as that was owned by Wexler, Ertegun & Berns again it could have arisen via the Atlantic guys).

Thanks for the link. I liked the song a lot and ended up buying the CD.
    Great find, great music.
