Wanda's vocals and confidence seemed to get stronger and stronger over the years. What an enormous shame that her recording career ended so abruptly.

How awesome is it that these albums are finally on CD??! I remember when I was in first year of University and I would spend hours studying in the library, while listening to my mp3 recordings from my vinyl copies of The Marvelettes' Pink Album and Sophisticated Soul, back-to-back...with all of the pops and clicks!

So many of these early unreleased tracks are much better than a lot of the cuts that were included on the Marvelettes' early albums. What gives?? Someone was asleep at quality control...

Many of these tracks are in stereo.... Mr. Weinger said that all the Lost & Found tracks were newly mixed- maybe that's why they sound so much better than many of the mono songs on the early albums.

Yes, you're right, Carole. Although I meant that the material/songs themselves [[the previously unreleased ones) sound superior to some of the released cuts that were originally included on the early albums, IMO. I like these songs better. I think Midnight Johnny also raised the same point. These songs could have been released.
