I had no idea this guy was Clarence Reid who wrote for Betty Wright and KC and the Sunshine Band and others. I listened to some of his stuff on youtube and its pretty dirty! I remember hearing about him a long time ago but I was not into people like him and Dolemite but he has an interesting story. Rappers respect this guy!

I remember visiting cousins in Benton Harbor when I was a kid and they had some "Blowfly" records. That was the first time that I listened to that. Was waaaay too young to be listening to that type of music but I remember us all getting a kick out of the dirty records lol
