I didnt realize that Leroy Bell was the Bell from Bell and James .....Living it up Friday Night!

every summer he does a concert here in my small town. i've met him a couple times and we talked about music and he's real cool. In fact he opened for Etta James when I seen her here in the park [[for free) a couple years back.

Love Leroy's voice BUT he shouldnt have been allowed to compete on the show due to his past success with Bell & James. He also wrote two major hits for Elton John. Of course they also let Stacey Francis compete and shes an ex member of Ex Girlfriend who had an R&B Top 10 hit back in 1991. It feels like Simon Cowell has put a few ringers into the mix and hopes no one notices. Next season I reccomend any non lead singer of the classic Motown groups should go try out as a soloist. They should have no hinderance in qualifying.
