Chivalry's not dead. In fact, it wasn't even resting at Chris Young's show in Ruston, Louisiana on Thursday night [[Nov. 17)

In what was probably the best display of in-show-chivalry, since that time Tim McGraw went after a guy in his audience for something similar, Chris Young gallantly [[if a little crudely) came to the defence of a woman in his audience after witnessing a man push her face. He was mid-song and stopped dead to have the idiot ejected from the show. Oh yeah! Handled that LIKE A BOSS! Seriously, how amazing was he?!...Tosses the guy without hesitation, checks to see if the woman is okay, apologizes for the use of "strong language" and seamlessly gets right back into the song. If we were on Twitter right now, I'd be hash-tagging: #MyHero!

Speaking of Twitter, it didn't take long for the props to start flying on that social network. Chris, himself, tweeted, "Awesome show tonight!!! Thanks guys! Also, sorry for swearing and kicking someone out but a dude pushing a girl in the face is not cool."

That inspired a reply from none other than Miranda Lambert, who wrote, "that's awesome! Love u 4 it." Chris replied, "It was ridiculous. A guy wants to fight a guy that's one thing. But you don't hit a woman."

[[Okay so a little double standard there but I'm willing to overlook that comment in this case with a note to say that violence against anyone, regardless of gender, is wrong m'kay?!)

Chris Young for President! It was a little over the top. No need for that language His language was appropriate given the circumstances. Chris is my new superhero I'm the guy he threw out and think he was way out of line
