Help! The Best Versions of Supremes Songs...

OK gang, I need some help. I'm real lousy at telling the difference between alternate cuts
and stereo/mono takes etc. BUT, I know when a song sounds different from a version I know.
As I was listening to some of the takes on The Supremes Singles Box Set, I was surpirsed to
find some of the cuts seemed "thin" or "weakish" compared to other versions I knew.

So, here's what I need help with...
When comparing versions of "You Can't Hurry Love", the one Featured on Motown Classics: Gold has far more echo and is much more hard hitting than the one issued in the singles box. This is the sound I'm looking for. So, can you guys help me find the most "loud" and "hard-hitting" versions of Supremes tracks?
