Just as with Phyllis Hyman, Minnie is truly an unsung artist & is the essence of what I believe that the show should represent.

I don't think Minnie was as difficult or as temperamental as Miss Hyman though Juice.

Indeed, Phyllis' family & friends have said that. However in terms of talent & the lack of attention & success which her talent indicated that she deserved, coupled with the average music fan had no idea about Minnie's career before Loving You, I believe that both are more than worthy subjects. And certainly better choices than the folks whom have been profiled whom enjoyed a great deal of crossover success and were wildly successful with Soul music fans.
