"Nightflight" Tue Sept 13, 9P-12M ET:"Redux, Renews and Remixes"

    Name: WOMRWFMRLOGOredux.jpg
Views: 181
Size: 13.1 KB

Howdy, Neighbors! Tonight, on "Nightflight", I thought I would bring back some of my previously created remixes as well as a slew of new ones...many Motown, of course. I find that often when I am doing these extended version, a particular artist or group gets more treatment than others. So tonight...although I have a variety of artists spoken for, the Four Tops have been given more attention with new remixes...and a number of them were by request...which I truly appreciate.

So since SOME of us won't be here because they have been lucky enough to spend the evening with Diana Ross, I hope you'll join me for an evening of extended versions...new and old...
...on "Nightflight"...on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans and streaming live worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org

    Thanks!
    Johnny Do-Right

Midnight Johnny Do-Right! You're killing me man, I'm your No. 1 fan [[I don't know why you won't let me start a fan club - what else am I going to do with all those 8x10's! LOL!!!!), and I never miss a show, but when Miss Ross is in town [[practically in my back yard) well you know I got to be there. I know, no wind, no rain, can keep me from Nightflight - but no Ross – I can’t do that! Besides you know if I don’t show up Miss Ross will be crushed. Crushed I tell you! LOL!!!! So Midnight Johnny Do-Right my pal, my buddy, mi amigo, my brother in music I’m yours on all other Tuesdays. Have a great show everybody see you next time. JOsEph

Cindy told me this song has spiritual connotations. I certainly find it heavenly.

I think Ask The Lonely features the highest background vocals ever committed to vinyl by The Four Tops.

Another song with a spiritual connection. Connie Francis starred in Where The Boys Are with Dolores Hart who is now a Reverand Mother in a Connecticut convent. The only nun who votes for the Academy Awards.

    Hi John,
Goldfinger the best? I favor From Russia With Love but cannot argue with you. Goldfinger had the best theme for sure.

I see your point also but for Bond Women, Shirley Eaton does it for me. For plot though, From Russia.

I have trouble with From Russia because Lotte Lenya scared me when I was a kid.

Very good. Go to the head of the class! She was the wife of Kurt Weill who was one of the writers of the song.
