    Cool Dazz band

Jus saw that David Nathans company, soulmusic.com are reissuing The Dazz Bands last Motown album Hot Spot as a limited edition of 2000 only. Seems a VERY low amount.Better order yours now methinks...Paulo xxx

Paulo would you happened to the know the year of this album's original release? Were there any singles lifted from it? Thanks.

Hi Marv..the album was released on MOTOWN 6149ML in June 1985. the single HOTSPOT/IVE BEEN WAITING was released on Motown 1800MF 06/85 also. Double A side promos of When you needed roses on Motown 1820MF exist. I think actual release of this was cancelled when the group suprisingly parted ways with Motown. Hope this helps Paulo xxx

"Hot Spot" was released earlier this year on FunkyTownGrooves FTG-245 with 5 bonus tracks. Also just released on the same label [[FTG-247) are the albums "Joystick" & "Jukebox" as a 2for1 release.
