Larry Buford [[songwriter and journalist) has just notified me of an unreleased song he composed and recorded on Scherrie Payne, now posted on Youtube for the first time.
[[It's not a brand new recording but is very contemporary.)

Background to recording by motownjim..

The song "I Do Love You" was originally titled "Can You Be Found" which Larry Buford wrote back in 1975 in Detroit long before he signed with Motown. he changed the title and lyrics when he had the opportunity to record Scherrie in 1995, some 20 years later. Scherrie had forgotten about the song and got really excited about it when he replayed it for her recently.

hi tamla, yes, it's a really good performance; it was composed and arranged by Larry Buford somewhat along the lines of the Michael Powell productions ......Anita Baker, Lorenzo Owens etc, Chapter 8,
