Have it 3 times on CD already but would purchase a remastered CD provided it's done right. Don't have that much confidence in Elemental due to a bad experience with David Ruffin's "My Whole World Ended" but their CD releases do look nice.

Not forgetting that Ben [[from Germany) did an expanded CD album that's blocked from sale on Discogs.

other than MEET [[which I got a stools 80's copy of) Sam Cooke was the last LP I needed to complete my Supremes collection...when I became a fan around the time of Love Child/TCB, the LPS with the hits and Copa were everywhere...Rogers and Hart was still pretty current so that was around, too...but Meet, Liverpool, CW&P and Sam Cooke were never stocked in my local stores...and in the late 70's when I had a job and some $, the OOP record shops in NYC were getting $40 and up for decent used copies....[[$150 for orig Stools)... All 3 of the early specialty LPS have great harmony work on them...CW&P is #4 in my top 5 Supremes LPS..WDOLG? is the only other Ross era LP in my short list....[[Touch / High Energy / WDOLG? / CW&P / Floy Joy.)

There's a site that has an "expanded edition" of this one; I thought it was Ben's. I don't know though, the graphics and design don't look like Ben's work, it looks pretty cheap and shoddy. I don't know if this dealer has just changed the packaging or what. I was tempted to buy it, but part of why I'd buy Ben's is for the beautiful, beyond-professional look of the packaging, graphics and images. Still, if anyone wants to check it out...

so am I right in thinking that the only cd issued featuring the original mono versions is this 'Ben' one from 2017?

Can I ask whether anyone here has mp3s of the cd mono versions of 'only 16' and 'chain gang' that they would be prepared to send to me - they are the only 2 tracks that I want to get in mono. Thanks to anyone who can help me...

it's blocked from sales because it's an illegal booklet and infringes on copyright laws. it is not something that should be supported by fans or promoted on here or on other platforms and social media
