Question About Backgrounds

A few of you are really good at the background voices and I’m not. 30 years ago or so I was stunned at who wasn’t singing on some songs and since then I just accept the songs as they are.

Today I had to do some driving and I have a couple questions about a couple songs.

On Shake, I definitely heard Florence but on the “ahhs” or the “ohs”, are there other voices augmenting the Supremes?

On Whisper You Love Me Boy, I hear Mary but are there other voices in there?

It is just Mary and Flo on "Shake."

"Whisper You Love Me Boy" is a double tracked background - two sets of vocals from Mary and Flo which is making it sound like there are other voices.

It's only the Supremes on Sam Cooke. The Andantes were added to several tracks on Country Western & Pop like "Baby Doll," but not every track.
