I wonder to what degree HDH considered trying out STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF LOVE with The Supremes?? Maybe they did!?

The track for "Standing In The Shadows Of Love" was recorded October 10, 1966 under the working title "My Search Has Ended" and assigned to the Supremes. HDH then reassigned the track to the Four Tops and gave it a new title "Standing In The Shadows Of Love." So the track was originally intended for the girls, cut in Diana's key.
