    From The Bronx

Something different & an incredible Instrumental. "Breakaway"

The one and only original acetate instrumental demo from 1965 with no vocals. Steve Karmen was from the Bronx NY and he was famous for Radio Station Jingles as well as advertising. He wrote this tune for "Pontiac Cars out of Detroit" for advertising in 1965. The B side has the advertising vocals. The original instrumental "Breakaway is from 1965. It was three years later before United Artists issued the record in 1968, including Jimmy Radcliffe's vocals on the B side. Both sides where huge northern soul records from 1975.

    Turn It Up !!!
