This is a blast; I watched it all. Mary Wilson spends most of her time defending Motown and comes off best.
Poor Mary Wells; she was clearly in bad shape.
Bobby Taylor and Raynoma, wow
For those of you interested in Motown history, this is worth listening to it in its entirety. There’s next to nothing about Diana in it, but a lot about how these artists wanted to be part of Motown and ended up with little or nothing. Also this was the Motorcity era and there is discussion of that and their respect for Ian Levine.
Much respect for Mary for this interview - she defends especially Motown but also Diana; but most of all, after listening you understand how she buckled down and made a living when Motown was gone - and that was more than so many of them managed to do.
Taylor made a complete fool of himself. A bodyguard? Get real
