    Luther duet with Diana

Just watched them sing together on RTL Best Years of my Life. Wow! Makes me sad that they didn't do a bona fide duet recording.

A decent duets album could have been a way of rekindling her popularity during the late 80’s or anytime during 90’s. So many missed opportunities.

that's actually an interesting idea! in the Force Behind The Power thread, i suggested that maybe she do some in 93 or 94 to tap into the new reinterest in disco. perhaps she could have done a new take on the "American Songbook." sure she could do a few tunes from Cole Porter, Gershwin and the like but only a couple that are in the "old" style and do a tune or two in 90s style. but she could help redefine the phrase "american songbook" and incorporate hits from the 70s and 80s and 90s. show that the songbook is current

Throw in a variety of duets too with key people - Luther, Michael, maybe Patti!! lol Gloria Estefan.
