Documentary - rise and fall of disco on pbs tonight 10-30-2023

Tonight, 10/30, there is a documentary on PBS American Experience The War on Disco .

It explores the cultural movement that aided disco's rise and the backlash that tried to destroy it.

In NYC, it will be on PBS channel 13 at 9pm on the show AMERICAN EXPERIENCE.

It was alright. I didn't learn anything new from it, but nice enough intro for a viewer who may be new to the topic. In the part where they explained the origins of Disco I noted they used the Supremes/4 tops version of River Deep Mountain High on the soundtrack to underscore the narration.
