Lady Blackbird is the ONE! Not crazy about this song but I've seen her shows -- she sounds like Bettye Lavette and Tina Turner with a hint of Shirley Bassey. Fabulous!

She's certainly talented and has an interesting voice, Guy. I say interesting because she has this jazzy vibrato but also has so much power too...like you said, her sound is multi-faceted.
