Diana herself has denied autographs over the years including a good friend of mine who happens to be a huge Ross fan. I think it all depends on the day, though seems to matter more when it’s your own children being refused. Hmmm.

I've collected autographs for decades, many years before I started collecting Motown memorabilia. Diana was always known as a "tough signer" as they're termed in the autograph collecting world, someone who is usually very difficult to get an in-person autograph from. I have noticed though in the last few years a great many more authentic Ross signed items on the market which made me assume that she has likely somewhat softened her stance on giving them out. It's tough to find authentically signed items from the Supremes era. Most of what I see on Ebay is questionable at best, including a lot of contemporary solo material that are obvious fakes.
