Thanks, I enjoyed that. I loved the Velvelettes from the time I bought the 45 "Needle in a Haystack" in 1964.I find it very strange that they did NOT have an LP release after "He Was Really Sayin Somthin". "Needle was a big POP hit in Fla. #12 on the POP stations in Miami. Top 10 in Tampa, Orlando & Jacksonville.

I have to thank John Lester for awakening my interest in the Velvelettes as I was only really aware of These Things Will Keep Me Loving you from Motown Chartbusters volume 6.

There is so much good about this group which the Anthology set brought to the surface.
