    Black Journal Episode Motown

    I don't know if this has been shared on the forum previously, but judging from the number of views of this particular video on Youtube, I don't think many have seen it. I found it to be a very interesting look into the Black music industry in the late 60's. The story on music starts at the 29:30 mark. Some nice inside and around Hitsville footage and a quick shot of the Woodward building. I've seen bits of Ewart Abner's interview over the years but not the complete footage shown here.

    very interesting video

    Loved the clip of Smokey in studio A....shows how the records were actually made...vocal, back ups, band track etc all separate. great stuff, and "Point it out" ...a favourite track of mine
