I agree with the above comments. I’m surprised there are so many covers of this tune, I find it a ‘nothing’ song with nothing about it to hook me

first thing I thought of ....DR Hollywood Palace....bare shoulder gown, hair up...
Gladys can sing pretty much everything very well....I enjoy most of her non big hit Motown era singles...esp Between Her Goodbye and All I Need is Time...as well as the more familiar cuts...I have to say, this did nothing for me..

I like the song...my fav version is the 5th Dimensions from the PORTRAIT LP....there's also a version on a FLO'S CD too....Scherrie Lynda and Freddi Poole unit that isn't bad.

A slew of Motown artists recorded a studio version of "Feeling Alright". In addition to Gladys Knight & The Pips' rendition [[above), there were versions by:

    1) JACKSON 5

In 1971, The Jackson 5 also did a version with Diana Ross for her first solo TV special. The version from the soundtrack album differs slightly from the TV version.

Thanks, Reese. I was aware of the Diana/J5 version, but wasn't sure whether to include it since it's a live version. But since it made 45 status, why not!

I think it was released on a promo 45 to DJs only to promote the tv special.
