I just saw a news bulletin about it and expected to see it on here. Since it is not, maybe that means it is a hoax. She would still be relatively young I would think. Let's see what we can find out........

I am continuing to check different sources and so far nothing. And of course NATURALLY I cannot find the news blurb I saw so that I can read it in more detail. It read like a family member or record label making the announcement.

Yeah, I just did a quick search on YouTube and there are posts saying she is no longer with us. There are also posts saying she is still alive. Some people have nothing better to do than spread lies just to get clicks. Sorry for any confusion.

Can't find anything pertaining to Angie Stone's death on Wikipedia, Soul Tracks or Facebook at this time. Looks like it's a rumor.

This is the one that I originally saw. Wonder what the person hoped to gain from it. I did not listen to it the first time because as I said, I was sure that you guys on here would have the real story. Sorry for starting this little controversy.

This type of disinformation BS gets annoying. Whenever I see a headline like this, reputable news sources are checked for verification. The news of Mavis Staples having passed gutted me until the hoax was proven to be just that.
