I grew up on this style of Gospel singing this while a member of the Angelic Choir in my church back in the 60s. Would often see Ms. Ward at the Met and on different programs in the city. The young folks can have the new stuff give me the Ward Singers, Davis Sisters, the Soul Stirrers any day! RIP Ms. Crowley.
