I remember the passage in Dreamgirl where Mary thought she was going to sing lead on the early Supremes recording of Who's Loving You [[a Smokey song) only to find out at the session that Diana was given the lead instead.

We have the 'New Mary', ie: the only way to get the press interested is to talk about someone the public really wants to hear about. I used to like Smokey; his auto-bio turned me off and his public gossiping of late has only made matters worse. But, like ALL of us, I am just ... overjoyed ... to learn that Robinson still feels sexual. Now I can go on with my life.
