Thats a tough one, actually sounds like a song intended for a sixties movie or TV show. I'd be glad to know myself, sounds like something from the UK to me, but then thats only my ears talking to my brain.
I would say it had Mitch Miller written all over it - like a demo for Frankie Layne.
I see the various suggestions.I am reminded of the New York sounds of Dean Parrish , Gene Pitney , Dean Barlow and the tunes of Jimmy Radcliffe.For some reason HB Barnums Three rooms with running water is going through my head now.
I am probably way off the mark, but certainly Jimmy Racliffe did write an perform simlar themes.
