Story behind The Initerim by Diana Ross

Interesting article. The 2002 reissue of the Diana Ross solo debut album that includes this song includes an error by stating the song was written by Jimmy Webb. Webb wrote a song called Interim for Richard Harris, but it's not the same song.

I'm enjoying this DR outing. I feel like i'm listening to a different vocalist , I wonder who?? Can't put my finger on it yet. Might be 5th Dimension ...
    Very nice .

    the Richard Harris one:

Diana Ross' vocal on The Interim anticipates the vocal approach she'd take for the Lady Sings the Blues soundtrack.

Cheryl Ernst Wells wrote Diana's 'The Initerim'.

Diana Ross' vocals here are quite impressive. Imagine if there were made a vocals duet mix with Marilyn McCoo's version.

When did Marilyn McCoo record "The Interim"? I know she and the 5th did Love's Lines Angles and Rhymes and Time and Love, but "The Interim"?

I meant the 5th Dimension's " Lines, Angles and Rhymes".
