Diana Ross' recording of "The Look of Love" on the album, "I Love You" is quite sensual. The jazzy guitar riffs in the song compliment her jazzy vocal phrasing.

That was a highlight from that album and it's no wonder why it became a staple of her show for awhile. My favorite cover of a Burt Bacharach song by Diana Ross.
that is one of the stronger tracks on that album.
the unreleased version on L&F is also quite good. excellent really. it would have been a perfect fit on Cream of the Crop.
i remember in an interview [[perhaps on the David Frost show appearance?) Jean mentioning favorite songs and i believe she listed this one. jean also did this song on occasion as her solo number in the act. on the bootleg of the girls at Carter Barron with the 4 Tops she does it
I agree with Sup. The version on the ILY album is actually quite nice, but the version she did as a Supreme is brilliant, IMO. I actually play it often.
I thought Diana sounded much better singing it live then on the “ILY” album.
