Sounds lilke Christine Schumaucher wanted to try her hand at Reggae with a different Ross-related song.

This has to be the definitive version.

This reminds me of the rap version by the Dutch Eurodance group 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor, from 1998, undoubtedly inspired by Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise." It was a top 20 hit single in the Netherlands. The music video is shot in the Amsterdam metro.

I like this. A thoughtful version and video. I think Diana Ross could have/should have done a similar video.

    Des'Ray is definitely wearing a Mahogany-esque outfit.

This takes the song in a totally different direction that works rather well. I don’t think anyone can ever top the symphonic arrangement and wistful vocals of Diana’s interpretation but good all the same.
