    Neither have I! My partner, who is a generation younger than I, didn't guess correctly but he knew the song once the title was revealed.

    It was composed for "The Muppet Movie" by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher in 1979.
    It has been performed by the likes of Willie Nelson and Barbra Streisand. If you haven't heard it, I recommend that you go listen to it.
