Does anyone know if there is an original backing track to Love Starved Heart by Marvin in the vaults ......im guessing there must be as how could there be a complete vocal take recorded without any music to follow...would love to hear the Funk Brothers ripping this one apart.

The backing track doesn't sound like the Funk Brothers to me, I might be wrong though.

As well maintained as the Motown archive has been in recent years I want to say it survived. If not,with today's technology engineers could probably mute the vocal to let the track stand on it's own. This is also a recording made in Los Angeles so the house band isn't the Funks. Another track was recorded the same day called "When I Feel The Need". Both tracks produced by Fuqua and Bristol
