Good luck with the Gaye project; that family will sue her from Detroit to DC.

A lit of her projects have been massive successes so who knows

If the Gaye project is that close to release, she may have things on side and she’s going to need Motown for the music

She’s not a novice so some of this might really happen

It could be good - the 'bones' of the story are interesting and the intersection of race, 'me-too', personal success vs. social responsibility, etc can always be interesting.

It seems more of a Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine project and they have the support of Gaye’s estate, Jan Gaye, and Motown are part of the deal as well. I am not sure where Suzanne came in on the project but she would definitely be a valuable resource. Now the search would be on to find who can play Mr. Gaye. At any rate this could be an interesting project indeed because Marvin touched many people at Motown and outside of Motown.
