What comes to mind for you??

nice !!!
makes me think of this Canadian disco song:
which maybe I've finally stumped you with !!
Since I Lost My Baby - Temptations
What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted - Jimmy Ruffin
It's Growing - The Temptations
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde - The Versatones
Boogie, I just discovered your comment now. Sorry it took me so long. I'm not familiar with this Canadian Disco track, but it reminds me of Andrea True Connection or maybe Silver Convention. If you listen to The Marvelettes' "Here I Am Baby" and then "Baby Come On", it's amazing how much the lead singer sounds like Wanda Rogers in the beginning of this Canadian song.

Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - "I Promise To Wait My Love"
Gary:
Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - "I Promise To Wait My Love"
this comparison apparent , yes??
Boogie, gotta admit the horns are very similar-sounding. Before you pointed it out, the connection had never occurred to me.
