The bg vocals and Diana are all on the same note, the backing track is at 100%. Diana does break it up with ad libs and all. But it's a lot

now i love to blast this song and sing the F out of it myself lolol. whether in the car, vacuuming the house, wherever. And i think this would have been an ideal F/U to Mountain. it also creates a huge orgasmic musical statement but it is quite different. it's not like Reach Out I'll Be There which is basically just "son of mountain"

I can see though why it might have been a bit overpowering for radio. it certainly should have charted much better than it did. but it might have just been too much to go to #1
