while i like many of the DRATS gowns [[the green swirls are my all-time favorites!) i do think the 70s groups needed to modernize more. I don't get too concerned bout the fact that these were "diana" dresses but more that they style was out of date

so in going through many of the pics online of the JMC lineup, i think these were just hot looks for the group! hip glamorous and contemporary

Maybe not for the ones that love glamour and glitz but I think this outfit made them look more fresh and with the time than any of the other outfits. I'm not that fond of the feather thing that goes with this outfit although it looked good on a photo shoot later with Scherrie in the line-up.



One of the only full length dresses I like from the 70's. They look elegant and not over the top. It makes them look sexy unlike some of the ballroom dresses they wore later in the 70's, just my opinion.



I think they performed on the TOTP in their own clothing and I like it, never been a huge fan of too many sparkles. Some of my fave Supremes pics are the ones when they are wearing their own clothes.

i liked those white beaded gowns too. these live shots of MJC look great and then the studio shots of MJL are HOT. especially the one of the "strutting!"
