Can't dispute a single one of those! I'll add 'That's How You Start Over' and 'Shine'.

Do we have the same definition of "underrated" Unknown, under appreciated?
I'll try to focus on singles...

1/ Swept away: a dazzling vocal performance, and forgotten song
2/ Telephone: for the same reason as above
3/ All of you: quintessential pop glossy song, so 80's, and such a good vocal from Diana.
4/ Pieces of ice: mysterious, cold, dark.
    5/ Let's go up: effervescent
6/ Until we meet again : extremely sad, beautiful
7/ Tell me again : not that bad. A dull song elevated by her performance
8/ Too many nights : on the Take Me higher maxi cd. I like it, it's cool.
9/ One love in my lifetime : glossy and sincere
10/ Muscles : why not this one? I love this song, it's like a dream and I enjoy all kind of melodious, sexy, sensual, sexual meow

    Under-Rated [[IMO):
    You Do It
    Telephone
    Change of Heart
    Waiting In The Wings
Every Day Is A New Day
Always And Forever [[from I Love You)

Under-Rated by public but not in this Forum:
Mirror, Mirror [[a Top Ten hit but not remembered enough)
    Gettin' Ready For Love
    Summertime
It's Hard For Me To Say

    Shoulda Been Bigger:
    Today I Fell In Love
    No One Gets The Prize
    My Old Piano
    Not Over You Yet

Call me old fashioned if you like, but how can a song that was a significant hit be considered underrated or not appreciated. That’s plain daft.
“Stay With Me “ i feel sure would and could have done very well.

some were hits in the UK and flop in the US.
    Some are taken for granted
Some were modest hits and are forgotten like Swept away

Like Muscles?. That aside, most of the songs listed appear to be random album tracks that fans happen to like. I think it unrealistic to expect all these songs to have been released as singles and commercial radio doesn’t generally play random album tracks.
As is proved, the songs are still appreciated by those that listen to them so why should they be considered under appreciated?. Perhaps potential hits that never were would be more apt.
I don’t want to appear a party pooper, but this is one i just don’t get.

I'm coming from the same point of view as Ollie which us why I asked earlier what exactly underrated meant.

Many of the tracks are only known to Diana's fans - as said radio won't be playing random tracks so they won't be "appreciated" etc.

More so than most artists too there's a great variance in how many of Diana's songs are viewed throughout the world.

    Some tracks that I love:

Never Say I Don't Love You
    Crime Of Passion
    Stay With Me
    Leave A Little Love
I Can't Give Back The Love I Feel For You
    Battlefield
    Forever Young
    Still In Love

but most won't even know they exist let alone have heard them.

I suppose my thoughts were when Diana released songs and some songs were ignored such as chain reaction.
It wasn't until CR performed it on the AMAs that the song took off here in usa ..same with Missing You.after the AMAs missing you took off way past the release .
Even Touch Me in the morning got a slow start as did upside down then they jumped up the charts.
    Other songs were just ignored

Focusing only on US single releases that I thought should have done better on the charts:

    Chain Reaction
    Telephone
    Gettin’ Ready For Love
I Thought It Took A little Time
    Pieces Of Ice
    Dirty Looks
When You Tell Me That You Love Me
    Take Me Higher

...and two that should have gotten a US release:

    I Will Survive
    Not Over You Yet

There could easily be an album called 'Forgotten Diana Ross' featuring a dozen or so singles [[not even album tracks) that are great songs [[and some were minor hits somewhere) but would never even be played on 'golden oldies' radio stations these days.

Of course there would need to be different track listings on the US & 'Rest of the World' editions as songs like 'Chain Reaction' couldn't possibly be considered forgotten anywhere else in the world but the US.

Songs like All of My Life, Last Time I Saw Him, Getting Ready for Love, No-one Gets The Prize, My Old Piano, Touch by Touch, Experience and Force Behind The Power might well feature on both editions.

All of my life went top 10 in the UK and is still played regularly on Oldies radio stations and My old Piano went top 5 and is also played regularly. Getting Ready for love is also played quite regularly on Radio 2.
As you rightly say there would have to different track listings for individual markets.
