My favorite Motown songs have always been those strong, powerful and melodic productions....those you can dance to...those that build to a climax. And that's what I often play on the show. But that does leave out a lot of wonderful Motown. So tonight, I'm going to focus more on the more mellow Motown that I've missed. I DO like the Motown stuff...but lots of echo and production helps the vocals. But I agree...they have some great Motown stuff!
