Like I appreciate the gist of Smokey in 2004 to write a song to help gangs but... uh...
WHY?!
My question is Why not?...Smoke doesn't have the right to express his own opinions about
social issues that have occurred and are still, 16 years later, occurring in this jacked up
world of ours?.....
I know, but the execution was way off. I'm not gonna give him any credit for that. LOL
What I meant is that usually I love a good message about the evils of social life but he thought this would reach those people, like he was obviously passionate about it. Just to be clear, I'm not bashing Smokey at all and definitely not this song based in principle. I just think the production was off, that's all. *shrug*
Also just to clarify, I love it as a poem. And you're right, it's very relevant.

After seeing the first clip posted go viral this week, I saw this CD at my favorite shop this weekend for $1.50. As much as I love Smoke...hard pass.
