Mary Wilson - Coming Out of The Dark/Love Child [[LIVE!)

Her vocals being totally drowned out by the music was not accidental. It was intentional. Some may say it was merciful.

You're most welcome Luke! I saw this tour when it came to Long Island.

Can't hear a word she is saying. Sound is awful.

This doesn’t sound good at all. I love the original by Gloria Estefan.

She sounds pretty good on "Dark", which should come as no surprise as Mary has a voice well suited to that type of song. Had she gone full throttle I think it would've been better. She kind of half steps it at crucial points in the song.

Neither she nor Diana should have sung "Love Child" after 1974.

I've always loved Mary's live cover of "Coming Out of the Dark". I think she sounded great whenever she sang this song, including here in this video.

I saw both Mary And Diana sing L Child [[Separately of course) in 1989 in Lake Tahoe and sound fine. Mary playfully sang both the lead and background intermittently!
I agree sometimes she does hold back.

[[Thanks again Marv for posting these gems)
