What are some of yours?
I intentionally left off Smokey because he did so many productions for others that it would take a while for me to pick my favorites.
Stevie's "It's a Shame" for the Spinners was my first thought [[and choice). I also liked his "We'll Have It Made" for the Spinners. I really liked Marvin's "Baby, I'm For Real" and "The Bells" for the Originals.
Smokey, of course, is the greatest Motown artist to produce other Motown artists, but he was also a writer/producer. As were Ashford & Simpson and Johnny Bristol. I love all their work.
