I'm not a Prince fan. Like him enough that I would buy a greatest hits package from the 80s, but that's about it. Saw Purple Rain two or three times in a theatre and drive in when it first came out as a small kid. My mom bought the soundtrack, which is now in my possession. This live set...I would buy it. The Purple Rain period is Prince at his "best" IMO and there's no doubt this set is worthy.

That was a scene from the movie Purple Rain and filmed at the First Avenue club in Minneapolis. The concert at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY was from a year later [and Apollonia wasn't there].
