Marv johson - you got what it takes [[rare clip from 1959)

I am almost certain this great clip is from The Dick Clark "Beechnut Hour" show that aired Saturday nights in the late 50s to early 60s out of New York:

This was from one of those Rock and Roll movies or a Scorpitone. Still, it is great. Marv Johnson with "Show Me"

Thanks a million Marv. What GREAT talent. You certainly do not see outstanding performances like this today. Marv started the Motown ascension. Thanks Marv Johnson for your great contributions.

He really does deserve a lot more recognition than he receives. It always puzzled me that he never gets a mention during any of the past big Motown anniversary celebrations. The last time I saw him perform in concert was in 1990 and he had not lost a thing! He danced and sang like he was still in his early 20s! I hope you got the little surprise from me.
