    Well Tamla617 ..

I vaguely remember the record .. late '70s I think .. don't know what it was called .. but I do remember it ..

BECAUSE .. that intro is actually an old '60s Chrysler radio commercial

It was included on "Cruisin 1966" .. KJR Seattle ..

Side 2 just after "Hanky Panky" by TOMMY JAMES & THE SHONDELLS and just before "Walk Away Renee" by LEFT BANKE as per this link ..

    http://leemichaelwithers.tripod.com/cruisin66.htm

Seems you can hear it if you are subscribed to reelradio ..

Probably of no help to you but hopefully of interest.

Oops .. sorry .. false Memory syndrome ..

I just got out my copy of the KJR L.P. to check .. the "Barracuda" commercial is actually the "Plymouth" Commercial on side one .. between "Devil With A Blue Dress" by MITCH RYDER and "Wipeout" by THE SURFARIS!!

    LOL!!

    Yes.

Destruction and Mr Soul are right ..

Its "Summer Fun" by THE BARRACUDAS ..

Here it is on You -Tube ..

The intro is the commercial on the "Cruisin'" L.P. There is also a clip on you tube of them playing it on "Top of The Pops" which omits it .. this one includes it ..

Seems they also did a song called "I Want My Woody Back" .. don't we all ..
